1. Snap some spooky photos of your old, outdated boiler.*
2. Summon your entry by submitting the photos on this page.
3. Tell us all the scary details, like the estimated age of your system and its annual fuel consumption.
4. Enter by October 5, 2025, or risk being haunted by your old boiler forever!

*Unsure if you have a furnace or boiler? Though furnaces are excluded from this contest, we still welcome you to submit your photo, and we’ll be in touch regarding your equipment.

Terms and Conditions

1. Email required for entry. I understand that my email address may be used by Wyman Energy for marketing purposes to share company specials, promotions, and savings opportunities. Information will not be shared with external parties.
2. Eligible submissions must be within our coverage area. To see if you are in our coverage area, please visit our service area page: wymanenergy.com/why-wyman-energy/service-area
3. Employees of Wyman Energy and family members of employees of Wyman Energy are not eligible to enter or win.
4. Must be property owner or homeowner to qualify. Renters are not eligible to enter.
5. To enter, please visit our website at wymanenergy.com and fill out a small entry form with pictures of your existing unit. Wyman Energy will then post the contest entries to our Facebook page. Please do not post any pictures or personal information to our Facebook page.
6. Your photo of your unit will be displayed online. Your name, address, and phone number will not be displayed. Submitting a photo for entry grants permission to Wyman Energy to use the image in future marketing materials.
7. Your information will not be sold.
8. If you are not currently a customer and have been selected to be a finalist, you will be notified to take the necessary steps to become a customer within 5 business days after the notification. Oil users must commit to automatic delivery from Wyman Energy for a minimum one-year period to qualify as a finalist.
9. Entrants with an underground oil tank must have ProGuard to qualify for entry. Entrants with an above ground oil tank must have a completed tank inspection to qualify for entry.
10. All entries are due by 10/5/25. The finalists will be notified by email during the week of 10/27/25 and must reply within 24 hours to confirm participation, or position may be forfeited. A site visit may be necessary to choose the finalists.
11. Voting will take place for 14 days after finalists are announced at wymanenergy.com/ugliest-boiler-contest. The finalists will be identified on the website. The winner will be determined based on the highest number of votes.
12. One vote per person during the contest period. Additional votes will be excluded.
13. Winner must claim prize within 2 business days of notification.
14. The equipment sale must be a single-zone Crown Velocity boiler product that will be supplied and installed by Wyman Energy. Prize value may value up to $7,500. Any additional zones and costs upwards of $7,500 will be at the expense of the winner.
15. Eligibility is prohibited for steam boilers, propane boilers, and all types of furnaces.
16. Installation of the grand prize boiler must be scheduled and completed no later than November 20, 2025.
17. Installation does not apply to oil-to-gas or gas-to-oil conversions.
18. Installation for winner will include a certified chimney inspection and cleaning. Any additional chimney work beyond inspection and cleaning will be the responsibility of the homeowner or property owner.
19. Wyman Energy is not responsible for any work beyond 3 feet of piping from the boiler.
20. Wyman Energy will acquire and pay for the required permits for installation. Winner is responsible for arranging installation inspection with the township. Winner must complete an ST8 form in order for sales tax not to be charged.
21. The winner agrees to provide a testimonial of the experience with a photograph of the before and after equipment and aid in a case study on energy savings.
22. The winner will receive an IRS Form 1099-MISC, Miscellaneous Income.
23. Wyman Energy will not be responsible for the removal of any asbestos. If you are the winner, and your system has asbestos, you will be required to have it removed by an asbestos professional prior to our installation.
24. Prize cannot be exchanged for cash value. System installation must be completed by Wyman Energy.
